The Instron 2580 Series static load cells are high-precision force transducers optimized for use with 5900 and 6800 Series universal testing systems, capable of measuring loads across a wide range (up to ±600 kN) with accuracy to 0.5 % of reading and sensitivity down to 1/1000th of full scale. Temperature-compensated and calibrated on equipment traceable to international standards, they have automatic recognition with an electronic serial number and support electronic calibration, while offering overload protection (up to 150 % without damage, 300 % without mechanical failure).
