The BG10 Gun Barrel Bore Gauge System is an electro-mechanical measuring device that was originally introduced into service by the RAF for the high-speed measurement of aircraft cannons, to ensure minimum operational aircraft turnaround time. Measurements are taken at 16 pre-determined positions along each bore, which are then compared to pre-stored warning and rejection criteria. The actual measurements taken are displayed to the Operator on an LCD display and the measurements stored for future reference. The system will automatically provide a visual indication on the Hand Held Unit whether the barrel was acceptable, close to tolerance or rejected – all this to be undertaken in less than five minutes!

The Astronics Frequency Converter Unit (FCU) provides frequency conversion of variable frequency aircraft power. Recent trends in aircraft power systems use variable frequency (VF) generators instead of fixed frequency of 400Hz. While the majority of aircraft loads can use VF power, select loads still exclusively require 400Hz and are best addressed by the use of FCUs. The FCU performs the task of converting the power line frequency by leveraging recent advances in solid-state technology to provide dramatic improvements in performance over traditional frequency converter solutions.

TTU-205 Series
The TTU-205 Series are rugged, self-contained flightline test systems which can be used to accurately simulate in flight pressure conditions. This is done by precisely controlling and measuring Altitude and Airspeed pressure to aircraft’s pitot static system. The TTU-205 can be used to test, certify, calibrate, and troubleshoot aircraft pitot-static systems or associated pneumatic flight control systems. The dual channel operation allows operators to perform dynamic, qualitative calibration and leak test for "on ground" simulation of altitude and airspeed pressures. The accuracy and operational capabilities meets or exceeds test requirements for military as well as commercial aircraft. The TTU-205/J model is an RVSM compliant test set.

The acceleration test is performed on a centrifuge to assure that material can structurally withstand the steady state inertia loads that are induced by platform acceleration, deceleration, and maneuver in the service environment, and can function without degradation during and following exposure to these forces. Restrained Airspeeds
These airspeed indicators have restrained movements.These instruments are actuated by ram air and ambient atmospheric pressure obtained from the aircraft pitot and static pressure systems. A moveable pointer and a fixed dial indicate airspeed with the zero index at the 12 o’clock position. Temperature compensation is internal and there is no external zero adjustment. Pointer damping is internally adjustable.
