The Flexible version, our Mini-Flex, has an FEP jacket, round braid and inner spiral shields and is available in 2 diameters, .105" &.165". The Semi-Rigid cables are available with a copper or aluminum jacket and available with a selection of different platings and 4 different diameters (.047", .085", .141" & .250"). The Conformable®, or hand formable (BJ - Braided Jacket), has a tin filled braid with a metal foil underlay and is also available in the same diameters as the Semi-Rigid type . All 3 types (Semi-Rigid, Conformable & Mini-Flex) are manufactured using the same type dielectric core and have virtually the same electrical performance. The decision of which cable to use should be primarily based upon your application.

RF Proximity Detector

The Type RPD-2 Radio Frequency (RF) Proximity Detector is designed to detect and locate devices that radiate radio waves in the high frequency to low microwave frequency range. Such devices often include surveillance and “spy” equipment. The Type RPD-2, when used with the different sensors, will detect the emanation of the radio wave within a confined area, and then isolate its location to within approximately a square foot. The type RPD-2A may be used as an RF field strength indicator for antenna field strength measurements. The RPD-2A is identical in function except that the meter scale is calibrated in relative dB units.

Pulsar Microwave's 5-way RF switches cover bands from 300 MHz to 12 GHz in both absorptive and reflective configuration. These SP5T switches have a rating of 200 mW maximum input power and a switching time of 100 ns. They are specified with a minimum isolation of 60 dB and most models maintain a VSWR of 1.6:1 or better on all ports. The SP5T switches are driven by TTL logic control circuitry and require both positive and negative 5-volt supplies for operation. A 9-pin D-SUB connector provides the interface for the power and logic voltages.
