ADI Test Fixture
TA-6500
The TA-6500 test fixture combines the features of the OEM's Instrument Servo Tester(T307962), the Pointer/Flag Test Fixture(T307951) and the AD-650/600 Test Panel(T334043) all into one panel to facilitate testing of these Attitude Director Indicator's. The panel switches and adjustment pots are labeled to match the test procedure numbers and the duplicity in marking makes it easier for the technician to understand each function. The UUT interface is through a 96 pin zero insertion force(ZIF) type connector to minimize contact wear. The expanded localizer and nav input pins J2-34/35 are exposed on the panel to facilitate the insertion of a 200 ohm shunt when required. The fixtures rear panel has connectors for the required dual API/Synchro transmitter interface while the panel switches provide the correct routing of each.

PCI-X Carrier For AMC Modules

The PCI102 allows testing of AMC.1, AMC.2 and AMC.3 modules in a PC environment during development and manufacturing; reducing the costs associated with maintaining different platforms. The PCI101 is a PCI-X edge style carrier with PCIe x4 lanes going to the AMC module. The AMC.1 module connects to the host PC’s PCI-X bus via a PCI-X to PCI ebridge. The AMC.2 module’s GbE ports are routed to RJ-45s. The AMC.3 differential pairs are routed to two SATA connectors. ThePCI102 is available with an optional VT001 IPMI controller which can test the AMC IPMI management functionality. The dual I2C bus connectors allow for connecting any I2C bus to any other I2C bus as well as being able to debug and monitor the I2C bus traffic. Provides two current sense resistors to measure the payload power as well as the management power of the AMC. The PCI102 can be powered on the bench without the host PC.

The multimeter is bypassed with the switch during connection in case of a power surge. The tester and meter can remain connected until other computer systems shut down, isolating the drain. This Hardy Shaker provides the ability to set the amplitude and change the frequency range without the amplitude changing. This automation makes conducting a test easier. A test can be conducted on a vibration transducer and manually recorded. Multiple tests are not saved; for multiple tests use the HI-903 or HI-803 units. The HI-913 is used for testing from 7 to 10,000 Hz, it offers adjustable frequency and vibration levels. This provides a reference source for verifying the accuracy of vibration transducers, connectors, cabling and instruments or instrumentation systems. The HI-913 has a ruggedized suspension system that can support heavy transducers (up to 800 grams - see frequency limits in the manual).
