Was developed to read and edit Plug and Play Smart Sensors that are compliant to the IEEE 1451.4 Standard. TEDS, or transducer Electronic Data Sheet, is a set of electronic data in a standardized format defined within the IEEE 1451.4 standard. This data specifies what type of sensor is present, describes its interface, and gives technical information such as sensitivity, bridge type , excitation, etc. This information is stored in an EEPROM chip attached to the sensor. By having this chip, the sensor can identify and describe itself to the network and or Smart Load Cell Meter (DPM-3), thereby easing automatic system configuration.

Display options enable the user to display interferograms, spectra or both, as well as to adjust plot scales and units. Onboard math processing allows for real-time calculation of ratio, difference, and absorbance, and when using our calibrated hot-cold blackbody calibrators, the ability to measure calibrated radiance. Further, WinFT offers the ability to measure sample temperature in the radiance function by matching a Planck to the calibrated radiance. With the gold diffuse plate, the software can also compute and display absolute emissivity of samples. In addition, the software has been designed to be easily run using the keyboard function keys and single letter commands, making the use of a mouse in the field optionalas well as minimizing key strokes when taking measurements in the field.
