3U VPX RL Thermal Load Simulation Module
The 3U power test module is an ideal solution for evaluating heat dissipation in a rugged conduction cooled VPX cage or chassis. This card is a thermal load in the chassis to evaluate the heat dissipation. The chassis can be monitored with temp sensing probes and or FLIR imaging. Different wattages are selected by setting dip switches. The +5 and 3.3V loads are on the top of the module. The +12V and -12V loads are on the bottom side of the module.

The 5000EG gyro is based on our air-driven 5000B model, whose proven reliability has made it the industry standard for many years. There are two models available: 14 and 28 VDC. The rotor is precisely machined from a heavy-metal tungsten alloy, which has a higher mass than brass, contributing to the instrument’s demonstrated stability. The electric motor is driven by a built-in power inverter, and has an integrated air-erection mechanism. A warning flag is deployed upon loss of primary power. During acrobatic flights or short stops, the gyro’s mechanism can be caged whenever the knob is pulled.

Low Voltage DC / Battery Powered HV Amplifiers
WMA-02 And WMA-02LF
The Falco Systems WMA-02 is a high voltage amplifier that runs from an 24 - 30V DC power supply and can be battery powered if required, e.g. for use in a Faraday cage. Its internal high voltage generator is inductor-free and hence does not spread magnetic interference in sensitive experimental setups. The output noise is impressively low at 4mVrms. For extremely low noise applications where bandwidth is not an issue, a dedicated WMA-02LF version is available that contains an output low pass filter capacitor which reduces the bandwidth to 50Hz, but makes the noise drop to below 0.2mVrms. This bandwidth-limited amplifier is ideal for MEMS or piezo positioning with manual voltage adjustment.

The dual core processor provides onboard processing and data transfer capabilities for the most demanding Fibre Channel applications including upper layer protocol support done on board level. Large and high data throughput DDR3 RAM is accessible for the onboard processor as is a high performance FPGA implementing the customized Fibre Channel interfaces enabling the board to analyze incoming and modify outgoing data in real time. Each module provides 2 Fibre Channel compliant full duplex ports, implementing the full link level services. SFP cages make it suitable for different media types as optical or electrical network technologies. Ports operate either in Traffic Simulator or Analyzer/Monitor mode with support for port related Frame Statistics. Sophisticated packet capturing mechanism and monitoring features are complimented with powerful triggering and filtering capabilities.
