Light Section Sensors for Object Detection
-
Leuze electronic GmbH + Co. KG
Switching light section sensors are designed to perform scanning, two-dimensional object detection along a laser line. They are especially well suited for completeness monitoring or product monitoring in the case of multiple track transport. The short measurement time and the detection range from 200 to 800 mm enable an inspection of the content at a high throughput rate even with deep containers. The internal data processing offers programming and differentiation of 16 different object types, thereby conserving control capacity. Complex detection tasks can be solved with one sensor. The compact housing ensures high flexibility during installation and saves installation space.

4D Imaging Radar Chipset Solution
-
Through enhanced FMCW technology, Arbe’s chipset technology transmits and receives signals from multiple antennas. By converting information from time to frequency domains (FFT), Arbe provides a 4D image with unparalleled element density in high azimuth and elevation resolution while simultaneously sensing the environment in long range with a wide field of view in real time. Additionally, Arbe technology reduces sidelobe occurrence levels close to zero, resolving range-doppler ambiguities and avoiding interference from other radars.

ABex Matrix Module with 86x4 or 43x8 Cross Points
ABex TM-404 Matrix
Matrix Switch Module
The ABex TM-404 is a 86×4 matrix designed as a universal connection between the test points and the measuring instrument. This can be done locally or via the ABex. The ABex TM-404 can be configured as a matrix with 4 or 8 busses. The internal matrix busses can be switched to the analog bus. The back connector allows to connect the TM-404 to the front of a Konrad PXI-501 ICT card to build a very compact ICT instrument. In addition, this combination can be used as an ABex system controller

Testing Large Radar Sensors with CATR Technology
CATR Radar Test System UTP 5069
-
Modern driver assistance systems must recognize increasingly complex traffic scenarios and convert them into appropriate vehicle reactions with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) and specific algorithms. Imaging radar sensors with a higher spatial resolution, so-called imaging radar sensors, are therefore required. These can better distinguish larger from smaller objects and, due to the larger antenna apertures, also require larger dimensions of the test environment or larger far-field distances. Testing these sensors in the direct far field ( UTP 5065 ) would therefore require very large absorber chambers up to ten meters in size and more. Our efficient test system UTP 5069 offers exactly the right solution:By using CATR technology (Compact Antenna Test Range), 4D, imaging and other radar sensors with large far-field distances are calibrated with high precision in a small footprint. With the extremely low-reflection NOFFZ absorber chamber, the system is very well suited not only for validation, but also for EOL tests.
