A highspeed vacuum pump loads the sample and flushes the sample uptake path substantially faster than a conventional peristaltic pump.When coupled to a compatible autosampler, the ASXPRESS Plus Rapid Sample Introduction Accessory minimizes times for sample delivery, stabilization, and washout with ICP-AES or ICP-MS. The result is increased sample throughput by up to 5 times or more. In addition, the ASXPRESS PLUS reduces costs from argon, power, ICP-AES / ICP-MS components, and system maintenance.

A large current (between 100A and 20,000A depending on system specifications and test requirements) is injected directly on the primary side of the electrical system such as a circuit breaker. The objective of the test is to identify how the system operates under various levels of current load.

These instruments generate current pulses whose amplitude is largely independent of the load voltage. This makes them ideal for pulsing device whose voltage may vary with time (for instance, the voltage drop of laser diodes may vary with temperature, or explosive squibs which change impedance during ignition). This voltage independence is a trade-off with speed. If faster rise times are required, consider using pulsed voltage instruments instead.
