This carrier can be used in temperatures from -40°/+85°C. The M-module interface of the i3000 complies to the M-module Specification ANSI/VITA 12-1996. The interface features A8, A24, D16 and D32 access types.

Each Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) is provided with a separate reference voltage selection either from internally generated reference or from the external input. This external input reference signal is passed into the protection circuits before it is fed to any active components. The input protection circuit is designed for ± 25Vp-p input ranges.
