Rotational Flow Demonstration Kit
The rotational flow demonstration kit detects the rotational position using the MCU’s on board data transfer controller (DTC) function, a form of state machine, while the MCU’s core is in stop-mode state. This ensures that the average power consumption is kept as low as possible, with IAV (average current) at 4.5 microampere (μA) and a 32 sample burst per second. The flow demonstration kit senses the flow direction and volumetric flow rate of water and gas, and can also detect reverse flow. The demonstration kit is applied using an active inductive method. Two coils are used to sense the rotational position of a part-metalized disk, and a third coil is used to generate a reference signal.

The Keysight 10719A One Axis Differential Interferometer makes either a differential linear or angular measurement for use in single and multiple axis applications. The linear measurement gauges the displacement between two objects, such as a stage and an optical column or inspection tool. The 10719A also measures either pitch or roll. An angle is measured when both reference and measurement beams measure to the same mirror. The 10721A provides high immunity to unwanted interferometer displacement, such as thermal expansion. The BG10 Gun Barrel Bore Gauge System is an electro-mechanical measuring device that was originally introduced into service by the RAF for the high-speed measurement of aircraft cannons, to ensure minimum operational aircraft turnaround time. Measurements are taken at 16 pre-determined positions along each bore, which are then compared to pre-stored warning and rejection criteria. The actual measurements taken are displayed to the Operator on an LCD display and the measurements stored for future reference.
