wireless traffic generator is an excellent choice for testing Access Points and other WiFinetworks. The CT520 uses a modified Wireless driver for WiFi NICs based on the Atheros chipset. It cansupport up to 32 Virtual Stations. Each of the Virtual Stations has its own IP address, IP port space, MACaddress and routing table. The Virtual Stations can be assigned to communicate to a particular AccessPoint, use a particular SSID, and have a WEP (64 or 128bit) or WPA/WPA2 key assigned. More advanced802.1X authentication is also included. There is a single WiFi radio per CT520 but multiple LANforgesystems can be clustered together for more realistic radio interference patterns and increased trafficgeneration capability. The radio supports 802.11 a, b, g or n mode. Transmit power andchannel/frequency is configured on a per-radio basis. Most other settings are configurable per virtualstation

This signal is available in a variety of resolutions and refresh rates. TheCBG830 will usually fit in a toolbox with ease and even fit into a pocket. There is also a rack mount kit available as well. Power is provided by a regulated 5VDC source and a small wall plug power module is included with the packaged CBG830 but not with board level products. The CBG830 will have a switch array to select the video standard.

The LT 4610 is 1RU full-rack size sync signal generator that can output triple-rate SDI (3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SD-SDI) signals. It employs two power supply units for redundant operation to protect against power supply failures. The genlock function for external sync signals enables SDI signals, six sets of analog black burst sync signals, and audio word-clock signals to be output synchronously. The genlock function is equipped with a STAY IN SYNC function that maintains the phase when errors occur in the input signal, making it possible to provide stable sync systems.In addition to test pattern output including color bars and SDI check fields, the LT 4610 can embed ID characters, QVGA logo marks, safety area markers, and embedded audio in a SDI signal output.
