The conventional hydraulic power supply unit for fatigue and endurance tests is always driven at full power to achieve the maximum test force and maximum velocity and the hydraulic power supply unit is selected in order to satisfy the maximum test performance. Therefore, depending on the test conditions, energy is excessively consumed. With the ECU Series the motor rotational speed and the supply pressure of the hydraulic power supply unit can be set in multiple stages, so energy savings of up to about 50% can be achieved depending on the test conditions and test circumstances. The water enters the meter from the inlet of the meter body and impacts the vane wheel at the tip of the vane blades to make it rotate. The water flows out from the outlet of the body. The rotation of the vane wheel (proportional to the velocity of water flow) is transmitted directly to the central gear in the vacuum-sealed register by the magnetic coupling. The sealed register totalizes and indicates the water volume passing through the meter.
