Skydive is an open source real-time network topology and protocols analyzer. It aims to provide a comprehensive way of understanding what is happening in the network infrastructure. Skydive agents collect topology informations and flows and forward them to a central agent for further analysis. All the informations are stored in an Elasticsearch database. Skydive is SDN-agnostic but provides SDN drivers in order to enhance the topology and flows informations. Currently only the Neutron driver is provided but more drivers will come soon.

The PXIe‑4480 also includes software-configurable AC/DC coupling, charge measurement, voltage excitation, IEPE excitation, and TEDS support, making it ideal for measuring acoustic transducers, pressure sensors, and hydrophones. Common applications include audio test; noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) analysis; and underwater acoustic measurements. For measuring sudden changes, such as high speed blast and pressure events, the PXIe-4480 can sample up to 20 MS/s per channel in time-domain mode.

All commercial LISNs include an artificial hand connection and a transient limiter. This adds a 30dB insertion loss. A 30dB pre-amplifier is included which can be connected in the RF output feed to return the insertion loss to 0dB. All bar the heavy current LISNs are constructed in a flanged aluminium enclosure that can be bolted directly down to a ground plane (as required by standards). The underside of the enclosure is left unpainted to ensure good conductivity with the plane. The 16A and military/automotive LISNs have an RF output for each line, thus allowing parallel measurements of the emissions. This facilitates measurement of common mode and differential mode components of the emissions if required.

The Sercos Monitor is a powerful diagnosis tool for Sercos III networks which is available for free download from the Sercos website. It allows a comprehensive and detailed analysis of data traffic in Sercos III networks. The Sercos Monitor supports the Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems. The tool, which is based on the WinPcap interface, allows a retrospective evaluation of network records saved in pcap format, as well as real-time analysis of network traffic. The user-friendly interface and overview functions which are characteristic of Sercos III networks, such as topology, communication phases and service channel transfers, allow the analysis process to be started quickly and in a targeted manner. Experienced users also have comprehensive protocol and analysis functions available to them. Appliance inlets designed for surface mounting and having a shroud of metal, are compressed in an appropriate test apparatus, an example of which is shown in figure 20. The spherical end of the jaws shall have a radius of 20mm±1mm. A force of 40N±2N shall be applied for 60s±6s through the jaws to the most unfavourable point half-way up the outer surface of the shroud, in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the shroud. After the test, there shall be no deformation or loosening of the shroud such as will impair the further use of the appliance inlet.
