Thermopile Power Sensors
Thermopile optical power sensors are based on thermocouples. A thermocouple consists of two dissimilar metals connected in series. To detect radiation, one metal junction is typically blackened to absorb the radiation. The temperature rise of this junction with respect to another non-irradiated junction generates a voltage. Our thermopile power sensors offer broadband, spectrally flat response, and calibrated plug and play operation with our optical power meters.

HU-200SS
HU-200SS connects immersion type MLSS sensor (SS-90) and measures MLSS in activated sludge. A wide range (0-2000mg/L)of SS contents can be measured with excellent reproducibility using the near-infrared radiation transmission method. Any of the calibration curves of MLSS, Clay (inorganic mud) and Kaolin may be used as standard substances of SS. If "MLSS" is selected for an activated sludge treatment tank, "Clay" for the precipitation treatment of construction sludge, or "Kaolin" for white mud, a concentration can be obtained closer to an analyzed value.

SWIR Cameras
Our SWIR or Short-Wave Infrared imaging covers the wavelength range from 900nm to 1700nm. A large number of applications that are difficult or impossible to perform using visible light are made possible, with great results, using short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging thus enabling the user to "See Beyond the Visible". SWIR is similar to visible light in that photons are reflected or absorbed by an object, providing the strong contrast needed for higher resolution imaging– unlike thermal images, that rely on radiated photons. Proximity sensors work on the eddy current principle. A proximity system consists of an eddy current probe, extension cable and driver. A high-frequency RF signal is generated by the driver, sent through the extension and probe cables and radiated from the probe tip. The CNR 4 net radiometer consists of a pyranometer pair, one facing upward, the other facing downward, and a pyrgeometer pair in a similar con?guration. The pyranometer pair measures the short-wave radiation. And the pyrgeometer pair measures long-wave radiation. The upper long-wave detector of CNR 4 has a meniscus dome. This ensures that water droplets role off easily and improves the field of view to nearly 180, compared with a 150 for a flat window. All 4 sensors are integrated directly into the instrument body, instead of separate modules mounted onto the housing. But are each calibrated individually for optimal accuracy.

Hawk Radius®
The Hawk® Radius is a ruggedized solution for monitoring both ambient and elevated levels of ionizing radiation. Like a Hawk with its remarkable vision, the Hawk Radius Probe “sees” things that other probes cannot. The high sensitivity weatherized pancake sensor can provide early warning of changing ambient radiation conditions, while the energy compensated detector can accurately report penetrating gamma radiation dose rate at elevated levels. Radius probes are typically deployed as part of an environmental radiation monitoring program, or for safety and security systems. In its standard configuration the probe detects beta, low energy gamma and x-radiation with one channel and energy compensated penetrating gamma radiation levels with a second channel. It can be configured to detect alpha radiation as well. The Hawk® Radius has been deployed worldwide in demanding conditions for protecting communities and collecting environmental radiation data. It can be deployed easily and requires minimum maintenance. The Radius is compatible with Medcomʻs GeigerLink adapter and the IMI Gateway App for use with personal computers.
