By changing insertion sections, it is possible to calibrate "Short" and "Thru". Optional cassettes with quarter wave "short" inserters are available. Using this waveguide cassette, it is possible to do vector network analyzer calibration or additional scalar network analyzer calibration. Insertable sample holders supports two measurement methods: the rod in the centre of the waveguide and filled waveguide cross-section.
