The A2K absolute encoder is a non-contacting optical rotary position sensor which reports the shaft angle within a 360 deg. range. As opposed to incremental encoders, the A2K reports the absolute position rather than the change in position. When powered up, it does not require a home cycle, even if the shaft was rotated while the power was off. In multi-turn mode, it tracks the position in a 32-bit counter as long as the power supply is maintained. Internally, an infrared LED flashes through a circular bar code onto a linear array sensor. The microcontroller decodes the image into a unique position. All user programmable parameters such as resolution, origin, direction and mode are permanently stored in an internal EEPROM

Dual channel breakout board for the MAX31865 RTD-to-Digital converter from Maxim. Two breakout hardware configurations are available standard, designed to interface with either the PT100 or PT1000 platinum RTDs. For non-standard applications, including thermistors, custom hardware configurations can be accommodated. Contact Technical Support for more information. RTD devices may be wired in 2, 3 or 4-wire configurations using the 4-pin screw terminal input. The MAX31865 breakout is interfaced via 3 or 4-wire SPI with a data-ready output for specific operating modes. An LDO and a high-speed level shifter are included to allow interfacing with microcontroller devices between 3.0V and 5V (all Arduinos, Raspberry PI, etc) without sacrificing device performance.

The SX1509 Breakout is a 16-channel GPIO expander with an I2C interface – that means with just two wires, your microcontroller can interface with 16 fully configurable digital input/output pins. But the SX1509 can do so much more than just simple digital pin control. It can produce PWM signals, so you can dim LEDs. It can be set to blink or even breathe pins at varying rates. This breakout is similar to a multiplexer or "mux," in that it allows you to get more IO from less pins. Highly integrated breakout board for the ST Micro VL53L0X Time of Flight (ToF) range finder sensor, which builds on the absolute ranging technology introduced with the VL6180X. The VL53L0X drops the ambient light sensing capability of it's predecessor for a 10X improvement in absolute ranging capability, bringing the maximum possible range to 2 meters! As a result, this sensor has even more uses in the robotics, cell phone and gesture recognition space. The SEN-36003 includes the VL53L0X IC mounted between two 4-40 sized mounting holes with on board 2.8V LDO and high-speed signal translation to handle interface voltages from 3V to 5V. The board is interfaced via an I2C interface and function pins have been broken out to a 0.1" pin header. All pins are translated to allow interfacing with any microcontroller in the 3V to 5V operating range.
