The LCA-RTC Module provide low-cost, dedicated signal conditioning for a single bridge type load cell or torque sensor. Model LCA-RTC comes with removable screw-clamp terminal connectors, which accept wires without soldering.On- board jumper selections include sensitivities from 0.5 mV/V to 10 mV/V, bandwidths from 100 Hz to 30 kHz, and amplified outputs of 0 to ±5V, 0 to ±10V, 0-16 mA, 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA. Zero and span adjustments are via precision 25-turn low-tempco metal film potentiometers.The units can be operated next to the sensor with 4-wire hookup or at distances up to 1 km (3300 feet) with 6-wire hookup. An onboard 87.325 kΩ resistor allows easy shunt calibration at the push of a button. Provision is also made for a user-furnished calibration resistor. Power requirements are 11.8 to 26V DC with load currents from 10 to 60 mA, the latter applying when the unit provides 10V DC excitation to a 350 ohm load cell and delivers a 20 mA analog output.

Low Noise Differential Preamplifiers

Provide a high gain amplification to 1MHz with an AC output derived from a very low noise FET instrumentation amplifier. Each model has fixed gain settings of x1 (0dB), x10 (20dB), x100 (40dB) and x1000 (60dB) over a selectable bandwidths of 100Hz, 1kHz (HP), 3kHz, 30kHz, 100kHz and 1MHz (7000 model only). Noise referred to input is 7nV√Hz and common mode rejection is >100dB at 1kHz. Momentary pushbutton switches are provided that control coupling, bandwidth, gain and channel on/off selections. If used in differential mode each two inputs are connected together reducing the number of available channels by half. The 16 bit vertical resolution have four times the accuracy compared to 14 bit cards and sixteen times the accuracy if compared with a 12 bit card. The Keysight 10721A Two Axis Differential Interferometer, when used in multiple axis applications, simultaneously makes two differential measurements linear and angular (yaw) displacement. Both measurements reference external mirror mounted to an object such as a column or inspection tool. The 10721A provides high immunity to unwanted interferometer displacement, such as thermal expansion. It is a modular, compact design with monolithic optics for maximized mechanical stability. Use of a small 3 mm beam helps decrease Abb offset error. The 10721A is similar to the 10719A Single Axis Differential Interferometer, except that it provides an additional measurement axis.
