Combining bench-top portability with powerful automated test functionality, the midUTS is an extremely versatile yet cost-effective solution for your electronics functional test needs. Comprised of high-performance commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) instruments, along with Bloomy’s medium-density signal-routing PCBAs, a built-in or USB-connected PC, and a pair of high-integrity, production-grade cables connected to an adjacent benchtop fixture, the midUTS can be used in engineering for PCBA bring up, as well as scaled to manufacturing to perform high-volume PCBA and sub-assembly functional testing. It is also ideal for depot diagnostic test, debug, and repair of field returns. The two mass-interconnected cables connect the midUTS to as many as 320 test points on the unit under test (UUT), supporting an extreme wide variety of products using bed-of-nails as well as cable-connected UUT test fixtures. Most importantly, the midUTS helps you automate sequences of functional tests using NI TestStand and the Bloomy EFT Module for TestStand. The Eye-BERT MicroX is a compact, easy to use test solution offering high performance bit error rate testing at a fraction of the cost of competing solutions. The unit is offered in two speed grades including the X10 which operates up to 14.5Gbps, and the X30 which extends the data rate to 29Gbps. Its broad data rate capabilities and long test patterns make this unit suitable for testing nearly all optical SFP, SFP+, and SFP28 transceivers in production with just one unit. The real-time eye opening monitor and eye scanning capability can aid in troubleshooting by providing the operator with additional link quality information. The MU Locomotive Trainline/Cable Test System (MU Test System) can perform shorts testing, continuity testing, and ground-leakage testing on each of the 27 pin Multi-Unit Trainlines normally found on Freight Locomotives. The MU Test System is comprised of two identical tester units. Each unit is installed in a rugged, water resistant Pelican case. Each unit contains an MU cable receptacle that mates with a 27 pin MU jumper cable. A snap-on vinyl pouch on the outside cover of each unit provides storage for the battery charger/power adapter and the chassis test lead. The enclosure cover hinges separate from the test unit as the cover is opened; this removes the cover completely to allow free access to the MU cable receptacle and the control panel.
