Hydraulic Technology Inc. has been manufacturing hydrostatic test equipment to the U.S. Military, aerospace and industrial sectors for over 30 years. These hydrostatic test systems are used for both high pressure proof testing and burst hydrostatic testing. By simply connecting one of our hydrostatic test systems to a shop air supply, safe high pressure testing can be accomplished with hydrostatic test output pressures available up to 15,000 psi. Among other specifications, our hydrostatic testers meet the requirements of MIL-T-25456, A-A-52687 AND PD02LEEE07. In addition to U.S. Military stock listed hydrostatic testers, we manufacture both standard and custom hose proof test stands, portable hydrostatic testers, hydrostatic test chambers and ancillary equipment to fit individual customers’ needs as required. 9801B Tester
The 9801B hydraulic hose tester is utilized by the U.S. Army for high pressure testing of hydraulic hose and tube assemblies as well as any component testing requiring test pressures up to 15,000 psi. Enhanced safety for operating personnel is achieved by utilizing the optional 8801HT integral test chamber which was designed specifically to fit to all our 8801B and 9801B testers.

Energized Cable Sensor
The purpose of the Energized Cable Sensor is to allow the lineman to readily determine whether a URD cable is energized. The sensor consists of an amplifier which is designed to give a meter reading when the small AC voltage between the semi-conductive sheath and the concentric neutral of the energized URD cable is applied to the test probe. The amplifier is housed in a rugged phenolic case. Sensor may be used to check for energized condition on concentric-neutral cable below an elbow without test points. At cable mid-span (left), hose clamps bridge all strands of concentric neutral at the test location. Sensor’s neutral lead clips to one of the hose clamps. Tip on probe lead contacts only semi-conductive cable sheath to test for voltage presence.

Crystal Pressure Fittings (CPF) perform up to 10 000 psi / 1000 bar, and feature a safety weep hole to alert you before you accidently disconnect from a pressurized system. It can also be used as a bleed point. CPF fittings seals two ways: use fingers for an o-ring seal or use a wrench for a metal to metal cone seal (good to -40°C).

Radiator Flow Test Machine

The Radiator Flow Test Machine P/N 8601 meets all requirements of military specification MIL-F-45955A (AL). It is completely self contained and requires only connection to a source of shop electrical power to place in operation. A power cable complete with three prong grounding plug is permanently attached to the machine for this purpose. The unit consists of a water storage tank, a pumping system, a flow measuring system, a support and workstation, and the required hose adapters for connection to different size radiators. The complete unit is mounted on swiveling casters. The flow rate is infinitely adjustable from 0 to 120 gallons per minute by means of a panel mounted control valve. The machine is constructed from heavy 10 gauge steel, is double welded and is coated externally and internally with a water-resistant epoxy coating. Flow measurement is accomplished by a digital panel meter with a calibrated accuracy of plus or minus 3 percent of scale between 5 and 120 gallons per minute. Higher flows available on request.

AIS Air Data Test System

The primary function of the Air Data Test System (ADTS) is to perform testing and fault isolation of pneumatic-type Units Under Test (UUTs). To test a UUT, the operator connects the associated Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) Integrated Test Adapter (ITA) to the rackmount Avionics Intermediate Shop (AIS) test station. The operator connects the ADTS to the IAIS via an RS-232 Interface and then finally, connects the UUT to the ADTS using the supplied cables and hoses.
