Ellipsometry is a technique utilizing polarization state changes after light beam reacts with probing samples. Not like reflectometer, ellipsometer parameters (Psi and Del) are always obtained at non normal incident angles. Therefore, variable angle ellipsometer is far more powerful than fixed angle ellipsometers.
