Belt Alignment Sensors And Misalignment Switches
Electro-sensors belt alignment sensors are mounted along the conveyor belt that needs to be monitored for misalignment. The rub block assemblies are mounted so that the brass surface area is in-line with the edge of the conveyor belt. When the belt wanders it then rubs up against the brass block. The contact with the belt creates friction and heat that the sensor in the brass block records as a rise in temperature.

Shaft Speed Pulse Generators and Shaft Speed Targets
Shaft Speed Targets are needed to generate a pulse for a Speed Sensor that is monitoring a shaft for RPM (Revolution Per Minute). Electro-Sensors Pulse Generators provide the shaft speed target needed for shaft speed detection with a sensor or switch. We have many options available for all your application needs including customizable split collar pulser wraps.

Pulse Generators
Split Collar Pulser Wraps
Pulser wraps clamp around a rotating shaft and work with Electro-Sensors shaft speed sensors and are an ideal solution for installations where the end of the shaft is inaccessible. The two halves fasten together around the monitored shaft with recessed Allen head socket screws (provided). Standard and custom models accommodate any shaft diameter, tight spaces, and keyways. • Standard wraps operate to 3,000 rpm (high-speed also available) • Standard wraps available in PVC, aluminum, or stainless steel

Proximity Sensors
600 Series
600 Series Proximity Sensors are active digital sensing devices that generate one pulse per pass of an actuating target within their sensing field. No direct contact with target material is necessary. Each sensor is entirely solid state with no moving parts to wear out.

Shaft Speed Switches
A speed switch senses rotating shaft speed, comparing it to one or more settable over/under/zero speed alarm trip-points. A shaft speed sensor detects magnets embedded in a shaft-mounted pulser wrap/disc. As the shaft rotates, the passing magnets are detected across an air-gap as pulses with frequency proportional to shaft RPM. When a conveyor belt or bucket elevator begins to slip the pulse frequency (shaft RPM) crosses to the alarm side of a trip-point threshold, a corresponding relay de-energizes, providing shutdown or alarm.

Wired Hazard Monitoring
Grain dust is extremely volatile and can easily explode with the proper ignition source in confined spaces. OSHA has mandated that grain elevators in Class II, Division 1 environments must have the 3 monitoring sub-systems for elevator safety (1910.272(q)(4)(ii), 1910.272(q)(5), 1910.272(q)(5)).

Magnet Wheels Pulse Generators
199SM / 198EM Magnet Wheels
Magnet wheels work with Electro-Sensors Hall Effect shaft speed sensors providing 120 alternating magnetic poles around the circumference of the 3.75" diameter. The 199SM models mount around shafts up to 3" in diameter and are secured with set screws (provided). The 198EM mounts on the end of a shaft with a 10-32 UNF screw (provided - requires center drilling and tapping the shaft).• Use with 906, 906B, 1101 and other Hall Effect, non-metallic-end-capped shaft speed sensors (consult factory)

Wireless Hazard Monitoring
When it comes to hazard monitoring, we know it simply has to work. HazardPRO was designed from the ground up to provide turnkey, reliable, and consistent protection for your most valuable assets—products, facilities, and most importantly, people. Consistent operation is ensured with built-in tools such as self-diagnostics, transmission logging, and redundant radios providing you confidence that your critical processes are being monitored and logged at all times. Wireless nodes utilize temperature (bearing, ambient, and stud), RPM shaft speed, alignment, and vibration sensors. Ambient Sensors ensure bearing and alignment measurements are relative to the surrounding environment.
