RTD Series
The RTD Series Precision RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) Simulator provides a very broad-range of absolute resistance values that replace RTD's and thermocouples. Thermocouples present a resistance that depends on the temperature. The RTD simulator effectively replaces an RTD to test, analyze, and calibrate RTD measuring systems. The RTD Series simulator is a precision resistance source with excellent characteristics of accuracy, stability, temperature coefcient, and power coefcient. All these features serve to make it a laboratory resistance standard, exceeded in performance only by stand-alone standard resistors. Precision Voltage and Current Sources
VI-700
The VI-700 Voltage and Current Source is a versatile precision dialable or remotely programmable voltage and current source. Its three ranges provide up to 20 V full scale (200 V with the HV option), and down to 100 mV resolution; and 20 mA full scale down to 0.1mA resolution. Both voltage and current outputs are available simultaneously. The output is set by a range selector and thumbwheel switches in the LOCAL mode, or by a digital input at the rear panel. The REMOTE mode control can be a RS232 or IEEE-488 interface.

Precision Decade Capacitor
Genrad 1413
Six precision decades are employed to provide a range of 0 to 1.11111 F in increments of 1 pF and with an accuracy of 0.05% +0.5pF. Air capacitors are used for the two lower decades and highest grade mechanically stabilized sealed India Ruby mica capacitors are used for the remainder. Air trimmers are used for trimming the two lowest silvered-mica decades. The stability of the 1413 is such that it should not require readjustment with normal service. However, should it become desirable,the four lower decades contain trimmer capacitors that are accessible for this purpose.

The elements used in 1409 Standard Capacitors are selected for low dissipation factor and are stabilized by heat cycling. They are housed in cast aluminum cases, along with silica gel which provides continuous desiccation. These cases are sealed with high-temperature wax. A well is provided in the wall of the case for insertion of a dial-type thermometer. Three jack-top binding posts are provided on the top of the case, and removable banana plugs on the bottom, for convenient parallel connection without error
