Dynamic Engineering
Dynamic Engineering products are designed and manufactured in the USA. The majority of assembly work is done in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in California. Since 1988 we have developed engineering, purchasing, assembly, and test capabilities to guarantee reliability in our products. This is evidenced by our AS9100 and ISO9001 certifications. Dynamic Engineering has a wide product line with embedded solutions for PCIe, PCI, PMC, XMC, IndustryPack, cPCI, cPCIe, PCI-104, PC104e, VME and VPX. We also work with custom requirements. Solutions include adapters/carriers to install one embedded format [i.e. PMC] into another [i.e. PCIe], utilizing available positions in current systems with existing or upgraded hardware. Other solutions include standard bus interfaces for example: SpaceWire, 1553, and HOTLink. Custom designs are frequently implemented for special purpose buses and interfaces. Additionally, Dynamic Engineering provides chassis, power supplies, backplanes, breakouts, cables and other support functions to complete each solution. The PCI3IP acts as an adapter, converter, carrier, or bridge between the PCI bus and your IndustryPack hardware. PIM-Carrier-Dual
The PMC Carrier routes the PMC IO from P14/P24 to J3/J5. The PIM-Carrier-Dual routes the IO from J3/J5 to the two PIM positions. The PIMs route the IO to the bezel providing the equivalent of PMC front bezel IO on the rear of the chassis. The PIM can match the pinout of the front bezel IO to allow for common cables to be used for front and rear IO.

PMC Compatible Wizard Interface
PMC-Wizard
The PMC-Wizard is intended for use in ultra high-speed bidirectional point-to-point data transmission systems. The primary application is to provide very high-speed I/O data channels for point-to-point baseband data transmission over controlled impedance media of approximately 50 Ω. The maximum rate and distance of data transfer is dependent upon the attenuation characteristics of the media, and the noise coupling to the environment

Cable Assembly Crypto / Tape
The Cable Assembly Crypto / Tape provides a method of interconnecting the IP-Crypto and IP-Tape from the carrier to the PCI Bezel [rear IO] when installed into a PCI machine. Most IP Carriers have 50 pin headers suitable for ribbon cable in use for the IP Module IO. The headers are located on the carrier and internal to the chassis. Interconnecting to the outside world can be an issue.

PCIe Adapter for XMC

Embedded applications frequently require real time processing coupled with special purpose IO. With the PCIe8LXMCX2´s two positions a PrXMC can be matched with another XMC to make a high bandwidth processing node. The PrXMC can communicate with the host for set-up, and then use the switch to interconnect with the special purpose IO card.

PCIe and VPX Compatible Adapter Carrier

The power supply designs utilize switching regulators controlling MOSFET´s. An LC filter insures clean power at the VPX device. The PCIe gold fingers are rated for 1.1A each, and a total of 5.5A on the +12V rail. 55W are available to the card after power conversion.

Differential ECL / NECL is still the interface of choice for high speed in noisy environments. PCI-ECL is a general purpose design with ECL IO and a high speed Xilinx Virtex II Pro to control it. NECL, LVPECL and other ECL translators can be installed to meet IO requirements.

KYK-13 Interface
IP-Crypto
The IP Crypto is a special version of the IP-Parallel-HV. The basic design features are retained and an interface to a KYK-13 is provided. The original KYK-13 interface uses the 6.5V reference output, a transfer request output, and 3 inputs for clock, data and switch. The outputs for the general purpose section are reduced to 23 in number. The inputs are all available through the filter or after processing by the KYK-13 interface.

PMC-BiSerial
Two fully independent and highly programmable RS-485 / RS-422 IO channels are provided by the PMC-BiSerial design. The channels are supported by two independent state-machines created within the Xilinx FPGA. The transmit and receive protocol can be the same or different. Manchester encoding and decoding, standard serial [UART], control, command, instrumentation, and custom protocols can be implemented.

PMC-Serial
The PMC-Serial is capable of providing multiple serial protocols, both synchronous and asynchronous with a wide range of baud rates. The PMC-Serial has up to 8 UART channels, and two SCC channels. The protocol processors are complemented with a variety of IO which can be selected as a build option. RS-232, RS-485, RS-422, and RS-423 are supported. Two enhanced hysteresis MIL STD 188-114A receivers, and two open drain active low output drivers are also provided.

Ribbon Cable Headers
DINterm64
Ribbon cable headers are commonly used with VME compatible hardware. Ribbon cable is difficult to connect to other hardware, especially if multiple destinations are involved. The DINterm64 converts from 64 pin ribbon cable to a 64 pin terminal strip. Discrete wires are easily connected with the screw locks on the terminal strip.

The IP-OptoISO-16 is an IndustryPack Module with 16 optically controlled FETs [switch]. Each FET acts as a single pole normally open photovoltaic relay. The solid state approach has several advantages including bounce free operation, low on resistance, long life, fast switching, and higher reliability when compared to relays.

PCIe Adapter for XMC
PCIe8LXMCX1
Simple and easy to use. Install PCIe8LXMCX1 into your PCIe system to adapt an XMC card. The XMC can have bezel and or rear IO. Pn4 and/or Pn6 are supported with PCIe8LXMCX1. 8 lanes are routed from the PCIe gold fingers to the XMC position.
