PCIe Direct Digital Synthesizer
These devices provide two synchronized DDS-based RF channels on a single PCI card. With fine frequency, amplitude and phase control the Synth1000 products enable a number of advanced applications at a fraction of the cost of conventional equipment. In addition to two analog outputs the Synth1000, up to 4 separate profiles may be dynamically selected using externally supplied TTL signals for low-latency triggered operation such as PSK, FSK, and triggered sweep operation. SAMPULSE50GHz and SAMPULSE70GHzANT
The SAMPULSE50GHz and SAMPULSE70GHzANT are demonstration boards for Furaxa InP single channel sampler/pulser ICs. The SAMPULSE50GHz model contains a 2.4mm combined TDR input/output connector to the common sampler/pulser node in the IC. The SAMPULSE70GHzANT is similar, except that instead of a single-ended 2.4mm connector, the sampler IC's differential inputs are fed from a bowtie antenna. In both models, the IC's differential sampler output is converted, using an AD8009 op amp, into a single-ended ground-referenced output that is sent to an SMA jack labeled SAMPLER OUTPUT.

SAMPULSE20x2
The SAMPULSE20x2 is a demonstration board for the Furaxa SiGe3 30GHz sampler/pulser IC. The SIGe3 IC is a dual channel sampler pulser chip, and the SAMPULSE20x2 demonstration board contains two 2.4mm combined TDR input/output connectors, one to each sampler/pulser channel in the IC. The SiGe3 IC's two sampler outputs are then sent to to two SMA jacks, the first outputting the sample taken on the rising edge of the sampler clock, and the second containing the sample taken on the falling edge of the sampler clock. The sampler clock input, which must be a square wave, may be set to any frequency from 5MHz to 1GHz, causing the board take two pairs of samples (one on each clock edge) at rates from 5 million to 1 billion per second. A pulser clock input, which may be set to any frequency from 5MHz to 2GHz, and MUST be a square wave (preferably differential) with rise time under 100pS, causes the board to produce concurrent pulses on both of the SiGe3's I/O pins, which produce near-concurrent pulses at the two 2.4mm sampler/pulser TDR input/output connectors.

PCI Express Ultra-fast Data Acquisition Add-In Cards
Ultraview's PCIe series of data acquisition add-in cards are complete A/D systems on a single PCIe add-in card. These boards incorporate up to 8GB of on-board RAM with up to 7GB/sec on Kintex 7 (up to 1.4GB/sec on Virtex 5) typical PCIe bus transfer rates enabling full-rate acquisition for long durations. All boards in the PCIe series are supported with the same user software allowing users to select the bit resolution and acquisition rate appropriate for a given application and then easily re-use the same software on a different part. Included with each card are graphical waveform viewers, example user software with source code included, and device drivers for Linux and Windows. The example software is intended to allow users to quickly prototype and develop their applications.

Pulser / Sampler Core
Furaxa has researched, developed, and characterized a novel monolithic arrayable pulse and sample aperture generation technology. Recent results include demonstration of sub-10ps pulse/aperture generation at repetition rates up to 3 Billion Pulses/Samples Per Second (BPPS) with jitter that is estimated at sub-10fs. Further, simulations in a number of InP DHBT processes exhibit sub-3ps 20BPPS performance. The IP is process-independent, and has been achieved in CMOS SOI, InP HBT, SiGe and GaAs so far. Please contact us regarding your specific foundry and technical requirements: The company currently licenses the sampler/pulser technology for use by application and market, and is interested in discussing how the technology can enable our partners' applications.
