The FPGA Mezzanine Card is used by Data Patterns to implement signal interface with external world compatible FPGAs mounted on the FMC carrier there are primarily used for high speed analog interface for digitization (ADCs) and waveform generation (DACs). This form factor is also utilized for special I/O Interfaces such as various avionic protocols and buses. FMC I/O signals may be routed via front panel connectors or through Mezzanine connectors that route the signal back to the carrier board for routing through rear I/O of the Chassis. The system interface is designed for routing to FPGAs using a VITA 57 0.05 Pitch Terminal Array Assembly.

DP-cPCI-4017 is a 40 Channel Relay Multiplexer module constructed using ‘2 Form A’ relays. The DP-cPCI-4017 is implemented as a 6U cPCI module. As a 40 channel multiplexer, one input can be multiplexed to any of the forty outputs or vice versa. The forty channel multiplexer is divided into 4 banks of 10 channels each. This combination allows the board to be used as one group of 40x1 or two groups of 20x1 or four groups of 10x1 multiplexer. The banks are isolated from each other using tree switches. Four tree switches are used, one tree switch for each bank.

DP VXI 3117 provides 128 isolated channel digital inputs for sensing DC levels and edge transitions of upto 48VDC. The input level selection for 5 (TTL / CMOS compatible), 12, 24 or 48V is made through on-board jumper selection. The debounce feature is programmable for a period of 2msec to 2147 sec. in binary increments.
