Infrared Thermometers
Our infrared thermometers make it possible to measure a temperature without contact by way of determining an object emitting infrared radiation. Here you will find Infrared Thermometers for measuring temperature without contact and contain a targeting light to ensure the correct surface area is being measured. An infrared thermometer can only measure the temperature of exposed surfaces and not through glass. Decibel Meters
A decibel meter is a measuring instrument used to assess noise or sound levels by measuring sound pressure. Often referred to as a sound pressure level (SPL) meter, decibel (dB) meter, noise meter or noise dosimeter, a sound level meter uses a microphone to capture sound. The sound is then evaluated within the device and acoustic measurement values are displayed. Here at PCE Instruments, we offer two types or classes assigned to decibel meters: type 1 / class 1 or type 2 / class 2. Viscometers
A viscometer, viscosity meter or rheometer is a measuring instrument used to determine a fluid's internal flow resistance or viscosity. The term viscosity typically refers to shear viscosity, i.e., how a material reacts to being sheared. Rotational viscometers with rotating spindles or rotors, also known as "cup and bob" or Searle viscometers, are the most common tools used to measure the shear viscosity of fluids. However, a fluid's viscosity also may be measured on the basis of stretching. Gas Detectors

Earth Ground Meters
The earth tester determines ground resistance for both specific and ohm resistances. The earth tester is powered by batteries and have a clock timer function (3 minutes), Data-Hold function, a 3 ½ positions LCD display and their dimensions are 163 x 100 x 50 mm. Resistance ranges come from 20, 200 to 2000 ohms. They have a resolution of 10 / 100 mΩ / 1 Ω. The earth tester measure resistance by means of a constant reverse current (approx. 800 Hz, 2 mA). To measure ground voltage a rectifier is used (5 kΩ/V aprox. 40...500 Hz). The earth tester PKT-2630 series have a small format as well as multiple functions.
