Test Fixture with API
TA-14VG
The TA-14VG test fixture is based on the requirements for the Integrated Test Procedure for the VG-14A assembly as shown in the OEM maintenance manual. The panel also contains a test point breakout for the units main connector as well as one for the VG-401 base. The VG-401 breakouts provide an in series connection that will allow easy access to the gyro's signals and also provides a way to monitor rotor current. The panel also contains a variac to allow for line voltage adjustment.

Panel test jacks allow for external use of both the Hdg transmitter and precision resolver. This standard panel will allow by the book testing and mates directly with TA-5. ARINC HSI / ADI Test Fixture
TA-2000
The TA-2000 test fixture is a combination panel that incorporates all the standard capabilities of the legacy CTS-11(ADI) and CTS-12(HSI) panels and much more. This panel is married to our model TA-1001 dual synchro transmitter/API panel thus allowing for local stimulus and alignment of the instruments synchros and resolvers. The panel provides for testing of both superflag(28v) and low level meters through a matrix of switching that will allow testing of all meters simultaneously or just individually. The low level meter drive circuit also incorporates an automatic mode that will continuously oscillate the L/R and Up/Dn pointers.

Collins Radar Fixture with Gyro Simulator
TA-3A/B
This weather radar test fixture is a combination of the established WXT-250 series fixture and the RDR-2000 and RDR-2100 radars so that a single panel will provide many features that are still required today. The gyro simulator built into the panel is usable for either radar being tested and eliminate's plugging in any external simulator. The features for both product lines as shown in their respecting CMM's are provided on the panel so that full testing and alignment of these radars and their system components can be tested and/or evaluated. HDG and OBS Track Select Panel
TA-260
Universal Heading and Track Selector Panel This panel provides a synchro transmitter for Heading and a synchro resolver for Nav converter alignment. The synchros are mounted on industry standard 18:1 dual speed drives for maximum accuracy and repeatability. This unit can be used to calibrate both manual and automatic converters. This panel provides a rear mounted interface connector as well as front mounted tip jacks for independent breakout if so desired. The TA-260 also provides two discrete switches associated with the resolver configuration. The 30Hz/400Hz switch is provided to allow the resolver to be properly compensated for the type of Nav converter to be aligned. The second switch allows you to open or short the resolver rotor lead as may be required by some newer GPS equipment. This panel is lightweight enough for portable use or may be rack mounted.

This is our ARINC 568 / 561 Generator designed to provide the Instrument/Avionics shop a six-wire digital source for HSI or INS indicator testing. This unit also has a label changer that allows a full complement of INS labels (BCD) to be generated. Allows complete testing of the 331A-9G or HSI-85 instruments. An Auto Count Mode is also provided with tenth mile increments for more dynamic testing of indicators.

This is our standard power supply board used in many of our testers but also available separately. This board is capable of +/-15v, +10 and +5v outputs. Also contained on board is our standard meter drive circuitry for testing instrument meters, a two-pole relay and an option for a sine/cosine oscillator circuit.

KX-155A Display Assembly Extender Card

The KX-155A Display Assembly Extender card will give the technician access to troubleshoot a display problem on this Bendix/King Nav/Comm. The card breaks out all pin connections with their functions silk-screened on the board. This board will allow the technician to make a more logical decision on what the problem may be. We have seen in our shop that the glass display is not always the failed componet.
