Most thermocouple wire used in the manufacture of sensors is "Special Limits" wire which, to meet NIST standards, must be accurate to 0.5°C in the range 0-50°C. This means that even with most sophisticated electronics, the best possible accuracy for the system is 0.5°C.

The optional footrest is designed to be used with the Vibratron-II. The foot rest is 12'' long x 8'' wide x 4.25'' high with adjustable non-slip leveling feet ( feet are adjustable to add up to 1/2'' of additional height if needed). Surface of the footrest is a white hygienic non-skid vinyl covering and can be easily cleaned between uses. The unit is large enough to accommodate both feet and may also be used as an armrest when testing upper extremities. The weight of the unit is approximately 4.5 pounds.
