Micropower, 3-Axis, ±200 g Digital Output, MEMS
ADXL372
The ADXL372 is an ultralow power, 3-axis, ±200 g MEMS accelerometer that consumes 22 μA at a 3200 Hz output data rate (ODR). The ADXL372 does not power cycle its front end to achieve its low power operation and therefore does not run the risk of aliasing the output of the sensor. In addition to its ultralow power consumption, the ADXL372 has many features to enable impact detection while providing system level power reduction. The device includes a deep multimode output first in, first out (FIFO), several activity detection modes, and a method for capturing only the peak acceleration of over threshold events. Applications: Impact and shock detection. Asset health assessment. Portable Internet of Things (IoT) edge nodes. Concussion and head trauma detection.

Power Monitors
Analog Devices’ power monitoring amplifiers provide an integrated solution for digital current and voltage measurement via an on-chip, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), communicated through an I2C interface. Leveraging ADI’s precision analog design techniques, ADI’s products are twice as precise as competing devices, offering best-in-class accuracy (<±0.8%). The power monitors complete the industry’s only monitor and sequencer family to deliver <±1% accuracy for 2 to 12 supplies.

Clock Synchronization
Analog Devices Clock synchronizers are designed for wired networking applications, providing the clock redundancy functionality needed to maximize system uptime. Our technology supports clock synchronization with common standards, including 1 pulse per second (PPS) output signal from a GPS receiver. GPS signals are broadly available and utilize an extremely stable atomic clock as its time base, but they are often noisy. Systems rely on the IEEE1588 timing protocol to establish synchronous communications across the wired network, including synchronous Ethernet and synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) to optical transport network (OTN) mapping/demapping. The IEEE1588 protocol has emerged as the preferred method for Clock synchronizing systems throughout both computer networks and local area networks (LAN).
