90 Degree Hybrid Couplers To 500 MHz
Hybrid couplers with bandwidths as broad as 125:1 are available for applications within 100 kHz to 500 MHz. Power handling is 1 watt maximum for a load VSWR of 1.2:1 or better. These hybrids have an isolation of 20 dB and phase balance of 3 degrees. Most models have a VSWR of 1.4:1 or better throughout their operating bandwidths.Pulsar Microwave currently offers these hybrid couplers packaged in three outlines, including an SMT version. Standard offering of connectorized packages 412 and 442 are with SMA female connectors. Outline 412 may be customized with any combination of BNC, TNC, F or N connectors. Outline E is the surface mount version and requires less than one square inch of board area, making it well-suited for portable applications.

2-Way Power Dividers From 0.23 To 70 GHz
Pulsar Microwave manufactures a large selection of 2-way power dividers in narrowband and broadband configurations, covering frequencies from 225 MHz to 70 GHz. They are designed to handle from 10 to 30 watts input power in a 50-ohm transmission system. Microstrip or stripline designs are utilized, and optimized for best performance.Units come standard with SMA or N female connectors, or 2.92mm, 2.40mm, and 1.85mm connectors for high frequency components.

Directional Couplers From 0.01 To 2000 MHz
Pulsar Microwave's low frequency directional couplers operate within the frequency range of 10 kHz to 2 GHz. They're available in either surface mount or connectorized designs. SMA female connectors are standard, but BNC, TNC, F, N, jack or plug are available upon request.Most of these directional couplers have a flatness of +/- 0.25 dB and directivity of 20 dB or better within the operating band. VSWR of 1.3:1 or better maintained on all ports for most models. Maximum power handling is between 1 and 3 watts depending on model.

SP8T RF Pin Diode Switches To 12 GHz
Pulsar Microwave manufactures 8-way absorptive and reflective RF switches in single-pole 8-throw configuration. They fulfill broadband and narrowband requirements from 40 MHz to 12 GHz and handle 200 milliwatts input power. The SP8T switches have an isolation of 60 dB and switching time of 100 ns. Most models specify 1.6:1 or better VSWR at all ports. The SP8T switches operate on a power supply of +/- 5VDC and switching control is 0-5 TTL logic. The unit comes standard with SMA female connectors. Options for control are line drivers and decoders.

SP4T RF Pin Diode Switches To 16 GHz
The 4-way series of absorptive and reflective switches operate from 100 MHz to 16 GHz. They are rated at 200 mW maximum input power and have a switching time of 100 ns. SP4T switches that operate up to 8 GHz have a maximum VSWR of 1.6:1 and minimum isolation of 60 dB. All absorptive and reflective switches manufactured by Pulsar Microwave require both positive and negative 5-volt supplies. Additionally, the TTL control logic operates from 0 to +5 VDC. Voltage connection is made with feed thru terminals. Ground connection is made through the chassis and turret terminals.

SP6T RF Pin Diode Switches To 12 GHz
The SP6T series of 6-way absorptive and reflective switches manufactured by Pulsar Microwave cover applications from 300 MHz to 12 GHz. They have an isolation of 60 decibels and most models specify 1.6:1 or better return loss throughout frequency band. These 6-way switches require a +/- 5VDC supply to operate. Switching control uses individual 0-5V TTL control logic. Voltage and logic control interfaces into a system using a 9-pin D-SUB connector installed.

Single Sideband IQ Modulators To 16 GHz
Single Sideband Modulators incorporate a 90° hybrid, 2-way 0° divider and two mixers to produce either an upper (RF + IF) or lower (RF - IF) sideband when driven by a carrier signal and modulation input signal. Depending on the phase relationship of the signals injected into the MOD.I and MOD.Q ports, the modulator will pass either the upper or lower sideband through to the output while rejecting the other.
