Measure DC resistance of transformers windings etc. Introduction: The NMC ''TDR'' is a high precision, new generation, light weight large output current and micro-processor controlled tester. This replaces old DC wheat stone bridge and double arm bridge for measurement of DC resistance. ''TDR'' adopts new advanced test current power supply technology, four terminal measurement, digital display of resistance value and test current. ''TDR'' is powered by 220V AC mains single phase supply. The measurements are accurate as the test current is highly stable. High automation is achieved with automatic discharge warning.Principle: The constant current generated is fed to the resistance under test through the current terminals and the voltage drop across the resistance under test is measured and displayed in ohms. A true four terminal measurement is used to eliminate the need for lead resistance compensation.

BDV Transformer Oil Test Sets
NMC''s Transformer BDV Oil Test Set is a portable unit as per relevant Indian Standard Specification IS :6792 :1992, suitable for operation on 230 / 240 Volts, A.C. 50 Hz. A three core flexible cable is connected to the unit with three pin socket to connect the mains. The H.V. Transformer is a completely dry, resin encapsulated with two H.V. terminals with mounting saddles. The center point of the transformer is earthed, so that the voltage of each terminal to earth is only half the test voltage.

NMC’s Microcontroller based Automatic Voltage Regulating Relays (AVR Relays) are latest technology based Relays used for regulating the secondary voltage of Power Transformers with On Load Tap Changer (OLTC). The Parameter settings are made through the front panel keys & are stored in NVRAM. Independent time delays can be set for first control pulse & subsequent pulses. Built-in Tap displays Tap number of Power Transformer. OLTC is blocked for UV, OV, OC, CF, Min/Max Tap Positions & Tap Fail . in manual mode, Tap Raise/Lower can be achieved through front keys. In TEST mode, Relays, Display and LED indications can be checked. A pair of contacts are available for Raise, Lower, UV, OV, Manual Mode, CF, TF & OC. There are two nos. of 5 Amps C.T.’s available, one for the Over Current blocking and L.D.C. & other for measuring the Current.
