The Astronics 1260-38T brings a combination of density, versatility, expandability, and high signal integrity, making it ideal for construction of large switching systems. This module is user-configurable using inter-connecting relays as sixteen 1x8 muxes to a 1x128 mux under program control. The 3164-2 has two 14-bit Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) channels that operate independently, and the 3164-4 AWG has four channels. The maximumsample rate for each channel is 125 MS/s. All waveforms can be sampled from data previously loaded into waveform memory or loaded and output on the fly.

Frequency Converter Unit
FCU
The Astronics Frequency Converter Unit (FCU) provides frequency conversion of variable frequency aircraft power. Recent trends in aircraft power systems use variable frequency (VF) generators instead of fixed frequency of 400Hz. While the majority of aircraft loads can use VF power, select loads still exclusively require 400Hz and are best addressed by the use of FCUs. The FCU performs the task of converting the power line frequency by leveraging recent advances in solid-state technology to provide dramatic improvements in performance over traditional frequency converter solutions.
