FLIM Camera Systems
The Excelitas pco.flim camera system consists of the pco.flim camera and pco.flim laser, with a complete frequency synthesizer, which is required for the generation of the modulation signals in the frequency domain. The pco.flim series features a high frequency modulated CMOS image sensor that enables pixel-wise measurements of sample luminescence lifetime distributions in frequency domain suitable for fluorescence lifetime imaging. At a maximum speed of 10 Hz, full luminescence lifetime distributions can be measured at 1 Mpixel resolution. With flexible coupling and easy setup, the pco.flim is an ideal choice for wide-field FD-FLIM instruments and suitable for a variety of biomedical applications requiring a large frame and high-speed acquisition.

Capacitor Charging Power Supplies
Excelitas Capacitor Chargers are tailored to meet your exact needs by configuring modular platforms based on proven designs. Single-phase AC input designs are capable of up to 6 kW of output power and our three-phase designs provide up to 35 kW of output power. A modular design approach results in lower cost, higher reliability, and faster time-to-market. Typical applications for capacitor charging power supplies include flashlamp pumped laser systems (Nd: YAG, pulsed lasers, dye lasers, Intense Pulsed Light Systems (IPL) and aesthetic Medical Laser Systems, Medical Holmium YAG Laser), excimer lasers, pulsed UV curing and sterilization, radar and RF systems.

Phototransistors
Phototransistors are photodiode-amplifier combinations integrated within a single silicon chip. The phototransistor can be viewed as a photodiode whose output current is fed into the base of a conventional transistor. These photodiode-amplifier combinations are put together to overcome the major limitation of photodiodes: unity gain. The typical gain of a phototransistor can range from 100 to over 1500.

High-Voltage DC Power Supplies
Higher-voltage and Higher-power Supplies require more complex design solutions. The heat to be dissipated and installation infrastructure, plus choice of insulation system in a HVPS are driven by the output voltage and output power which ultimately dictates packaging. Typical insulation systems are based on air, dielectric oil, epoxy, RTV Silicone and even Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6). The method of cooling is a factor as well, the choices often coming down to air, water or oil, depending on the platform design requirements.
